John 16:33
I have said these things to you; That in me you may have peace; In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

Rudolph married Anita Munoz, on June 12, 1971 in Lomita, California at St. Margaret Mary Parish. He was preceded in death by Eduardo Alatorre (Father), Beatrice Alatorre (Mother).

Rudolph Alatorre, 75, was a beloved Father, Husband, Son, Uncle, Father-in-law, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Rudolph was called to his eternal resting place on July 14, 2023. He entered his world on July 1, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA, born to Eduardo and Beatrice Alatorre. He is survived by his wife Anita Alatorre; son Rudolph Alatorre; daughter Loretta Guilfore (Richard); daughter Tara McDonnell (Daniel); daughter Elizabeth Martinez; grandson Rudolph Christopher Alatorre (Jessica); granddaugher Jazzmin Alatorre; granddaughter Taylor Guilfore (Taylor Taylor); grandson Tristan Guilfore (Buddy); grandson Elijah Guilfore (BoBo); grandson Christopher McDonnell (Slugger); grandson Jason McDonnell (Scooter); granddaughter Elyse Martinez (BooBoo); grandson Josiah Martinez (Hey MARTINEZ...); great-grandson Julian Alatorre and one more great-grandson on the way. He is also survived by his sisters, Irene, Carmen, Dorthy and Mary Ellen.

Rudolph loved his family and his Mexican American Heritage. He loved the City of Los Angeles and it's history, he knew his way around the city like the back of his hand. He also loved music, favorite bands and singers included The Eagles, Tower of Power and Miguel Aceves Mejia. He would often take his family back to where he grew up in the city of Norwalk and surrounding areas where he would go and visit with family. He was the youngest of his siblings and the only boy. His older sisters Irene, Carmen, Dorthy and Mary Ellen all had funny and enjoyable stories to tell whenever they would visit. He worked for the City of Los Angeles for 15 years as a Traffic Surveyor for the Department of Transportation and retired from there in 2007.

One of Rudolph's biggest accomplishments was finally being able to visit Rome, Italy. Him being a very religious man couldn't wait to get the chance to visit the Vatican. He took the trip with his wife, Anita in 2006. Visiting the Vatican and all its relishes was something he was very proud of, as well as seeing the Colosseum in person.

Rudolph had dontated to the St. Jude and Children's Hospital for many years.

Rudolph served briefly in the Army in 1966. He was given a Honorable Discharge however only after a couple of months due to his chronic asthma.

"End of the Road"
~Although we've come to the end of the road, still I can't let go. It's unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you.
Love your wife, Anita
