Roberta (Parham) Hromas

For as long as can be remembered, Roberta has had her heart set on Heaven and her eyes fixed on Jesus. "Bobi" was devoted to continuing her Parham's family ministry that started with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at her grandfather's Bible school in Topeka, KS, in 1901. She accomplished many things throughout her 89 years. She founded En Agape, established a House of Prayer in Washington, D.C. and Jerusalem, Israel, taught Bible studies, spoke at many national events, launched and hosted many global prayer trips, author of several books, and put together and oversaw graduate-level programs in Jerusalem and Oxford. Many times, she would just stop someone in the street or grocery store, wanting to make sure they knew Jesus loved them.

We realize she is rejoicing in Heaven, not only walking with Jesus, but getting to see her mom and dad (who died when she was 12).

Her family here consists of her husband, Dr. Leslie Hromas, with their son and his family: Dr. Robert Hromas and his wife, Shari Hromas. Their three children, Dr. Christopher Hromas, and wife , Dr. Gabrielle Hromas, and son Kostya Hromas. They also have Joshua Hromas and Rachel Hromas. Their daughter, Lee Ann Bowman and her family: Christina Danielle Hamrick and husband, Ben Hamrick, with their four children, Jonathan Hamrick, Justin Hamrick, James Hamrick and Jason Hamrick. Lee Ann's son, Jonathan Bowman and his wife Ashley Bowman with their two daughters, Brianna Bowman and Julia Bowman.

As of now, there will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 21st at 1:00pm at The Harbor Church, 25401 S. Western Ave, Lomita, CA. She will be interned in Baxter Springs, KS, in early September. Please check back here for updates.
