Ray Anglada

Ray Anglada, of Torrance, California passed away peacefully on June 16th, 2023, at the age of 80 with his loving family by his side.

Ray was born on October 21, 1942, to Jose Ramon and Elisaida Anglada in Taos, NM. Ray was one of fourteen children.

Ray served the United States Army from 1960-1968. In 1959, Ray met the love of his life, Angie Lucero in Taos, NM. They got married in 1960 and lived together almost inseparable for over 63 years. Ray and Angie moved to California in 1968 where they had four children (Lester, Clarence, Valerie, and Sharon).

Ray was a simple man, he believed in God. He would often say "God may not give me tomorrow, so I live for today and take one day at a time". Ray was extremely loving, caring and giving to everyone he met in his life. Ray was a dedicated Denver Broncos fan. Ray enjoyed spending time in the garage building wood furniture. In the evening Ray enjoyed playing his harmonica, while watching his favorite shows on TV (Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons and MacGyver) with his wife by his side. Ray loved and adored his wife and children. Ray got the most joy from spending time with his ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

We will forever remember Ray's kindness, caring heart, and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us.
