Patricia Ann Cole, 67, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, surrounded by loved ones in Carson, California.
Born on September 18, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, Patricia was the second eldest daughter of Billy and Dorothy Cole. She was one of 4 daughters and a cherished sister to her twin siblings, Loyce, Joyce, and eldest sister, Vita Cole.
A proud graduate of Crenshaw High School, Patricia served as class president and was widely admired for her warm personality, natural leadership, and vibrant spirit. During her time at Crenshaw, she was active in the Black Awareness Council and participated in modern dance, leaving a lasting impression on her classmates and community. She later attended California State University, Long Beach on a full-ride scholarship as an English major before beginning her family.
Patricia was a devoted mother to six children: Isaac Sudduth, Angel Sudduth-Johnson, Crystal Scott, Jeremy Scott, Alicia Johnson, and Brittany Johnson.
Professionally, Patricia built a meaningful and respected career spanning more than 20 years as a Loan Officer and in Customer Service. She possessed a natural gift for communication, and her compassion, patience, and kindness shone through in every interaction.
Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those she loved. She dedicated her life to uplifting her family and friends, often placing their needs above her own. She was the family's steady foundation-the person everyone turned to for guidance, comfort, and strength. Whether offering wise counsel, helping make important decisions, or simply being present, Patricia provided reassurance and love to all around her.
Education held deep importance for Patricia. She instilled a strong belief in academic achievement within the younger generations and encouraged others to pursue their goals boldly and authentically. She often spoke about the value of being true to oneself, striving for growth, and sharing one's gifts with the world.
Patricia is survived by her sisters, Loyce Townes and Joyce Cole; her son, Jeremy Scott; her daughters, Angel Sudduth-Johnson, Crystal Scott, Alicia Johnson, and Brittany Johnson; her grandchildren, Rosalyn Johnson, April Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Hunter Johnson, and Jeremy Jr. Scott; her nephews, Billy Jenkins, Christopher Townes, Michael Miller, and Joshua Miller; her nieces, Tiffany Gaines and Jessica Townes; and many beloved cousins. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her-family, friends, and loved ones from near and far.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Dorothy Cole; her son, Isaac Sudduth; and her grandson, Sean Johnson.
Patricia found immense joy in hosting family gatherings and often expressed how at peace she felt when her loved ones were all together. Her selflessness, compassion, and unwavering devotion left a lasting impact on her family and community. She was a cornerstone of unity, love, and strength, and her legacy will continue through every life she touched.
She will be profoundly missed by her family, extended relatives, and all who had the blessing of knowing her.
