May S. Pratt
July 21, 1924 — September 24, 2021
A bright and lovely soul, May S. Pratt, made her peaceful transition on Sept. 24th at 97 years young! Her smile would light up every room she walked in to, and she was loved by all who knew her.
May and her husband, Edward R. Pratt, built their house in Lomita using lumber from dismantled oil wells, and lived a happy life raising their 3 kids and actively participating in all their sports and activities. She was a beloved member of the Lomita Goodtimer's Senior Club for 30 years
May is survived by her 3 children - Dennis (Marsha) Pratt, Vicki (Mike) Campanario, and Sandy (John) Rademacher; 9 grandchildren - Dennis, Darin, Danny, and Dustin Pratt, Kari Lightfoot, Joey Campanario, Jason Webb, Jessica Swenson, and Chris Rademacher. 12 Great grandchildren - Jackson, Josie, Addie, James, Cheyenne, Charlie, and DJ Pratt, Landen and Kylee Lightfoot, Kylle and Jacob Neville, and Gabby Swenson. 3 Great-Great grandchildren, Tate and Rayne Neville, and Merry Chandley.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at the Coastal Funeral Center in Lomita on October 29th at 2pm, with a reception immediately following at the Lomita-Harbor City Kiwanis Hall across the street from Coastal.
