IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Paz Pasion
Santos
April 10, 1947 – February 9, 2026
Mary Paz Pasion Santos, known affectionately as “Baby,” peacefully passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on April 10, 1947, as the 5th of 9 children to Fernando and Bonifacia Pasion in San Simon, Pampanga, Philippines.
Baby began her career in the Beauty Industry as a Cosmetologist but transitioned to the Healthcare Industry as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and various merchandising professions, leaving a lasting impact on all those who worked with her. Her passion for helping others extended beyond her professional life, as she engaged in various forms of activities, making a positive difference in her community.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Baby’s family meant the world to her. She is survived by her husband, Rogelio Munoz Santos, California; her daughter Eileen (John) Kuntzsch of Russell, Kansas; her son Diosdado (Achana) Galura Jr. of Palmdale, California; her stepson Ray (Mila) Santos of Torrance, California; stepdaughter Ann (Bob) Artley of San Diego, California; her stepson John (Monette) Santos of Grenada Hills, California; and eleven beautiful grandchildren.
She is survived by her siblings Eduardo Pasion of Mindanao, Philippines; four younger siblings, Antonio Pasion of San Francisco, California; Higina (Leo) Rea of Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines; Lourdes (Crispin) Gutierrez of Lancaster, California; Pelagio (Agnes) Pasion of Palmdale, California. She is preceded in death by her parents and 3 siblings.
In her leisure time, Baby found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid cook, she immersed herself in cooking and baking, Baby's talent for cooking left a lasting impression, with her delicious meals bringing warmth and comfort to family and friends alike. Her love for playing games brought laughter and fun to those around her. Baby’s most favorite activity of all is dancing. We will always remember her standing there, watching her foot starting to tap along to the music as soon as a song she loved began. She is in Heaven dancing with all of those who she had been missing for all these many years.
Mary's legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will be forever cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Let us rejoice in the knowledge that Baby has found peace in the arms of her loving Savior.
