Lan Ly Dinh

Lan Ly Dinh of Lawndale, California, passed away peacefully at home on September 16, 2025, at the age of 71 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on February 2, 1954 in Saigon, Vietnam to Ly Duc Mai and Huynh Cuc Hue. She immigrated to the United States over 42 years ago, where she built a life rooted in love, family, and resilience.

She is survived by her devoted husband, TanVan Dinh; her daughter Michelle and son-in-law Jacob King; her son David Dinh and daughter-in-law Janine; and her cherished grandsons, Jayden, Maxwell, and Jakey, who all brought immense joy to her life. Lan is also survived by her beloved mother Huynh Cuc Hue; and her siblings Ang, Kiet, Jimmy, Andy, Lien, and Hung. She was predeceased in death by her father, Ly Duc Mai and her brothers Bryan and Alvin.

Lan will be remembered for her deep love of family, her generosity of spirit, and the warmth and laughter she brought into every gathering. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and care for, and her legacy of love and strength will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that while she will be profoundly missed, her presence will forever remain in their hearts.
