In Loving Memory of Joshua Amir Pharr

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Joshua Amir Pharr, who was called to eternal rest on October 2, 2023, in Gardena, California. Joshua was just 11 years old, born on November 10, 2011, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, to his loving parents, Tiffany Pharr and Darrius Collington.

From his earliest days, it was clear that Joshua had a deep passion for life. He had an unbridled love for music, literature, art, and possessed a gift for singing and dancing that warmed the hearts of all who knew him. He had a unique sense of humor and an infectious smile that could light up a room. Joshua was particularly fond of the enchanting world of the Coraline movie, where he found solace and inspiration.

Joshua was a student at Environmental Charter Middle School in Gardena, California, where his inquisitive mind and zest for life shone brightly. He made lasting memories with friends and teachers, leaving an ineffaceable mark on the school community.

Joshua Amir Pharr is sadly survived by his devoted mother, Tiffany Pharr; his father, Darrius Collington; and his loving grandparents, Emmitt Pharr, Stan Collington, and Yvette Delaney. He leaves behind his adored brother, Jayden Godelia, and his cherished sisters, Alexandria Randolph and Xaria Collington.

Coastal Funeral Center, located at 25001 Narbonne Ave, Lomita, California 90717, will host a Memorial Service to celebrate Joshua's life on Saturday October 28, 2023, from 11:30am to 12:30pm, with visitors welcome for Viewing from 09:00am to 11:15am.

Though Joshua's time with us was brief, his spirit and memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those he touched. Rest in peace, dear Joshua, your beautiful soul will be cherished always.
