She went to Jordan High School, and then attended Compton College to study Art. While at Compton she met Earl Theaker. They married in 1949 and were together for over 70 years in Lomita. Jean loved to paint, sew, quilt, make cards, and most importantly collect dolls. She was the President of The Doll Federation. She traveled across the country to several conventions where she would give lectures on a variety of different dolls. These were just a few of her many passions. Jean was loving, giving, kind and caring. She will be greatly missed by all.
