Geraldine Ann Barr

Geraldine Ann Barr, 77, passed away on August 20, 2026. Born in Warren, Pennsylvania. Gerri moved with her parents to Southern California during her high school years and graduated from West Torrance High School. She went on to St. Vincent's School of Nursing in Los Angeles, beginning a lifelong career in nursing and nurse education at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance. She later founded Continuing Education Unlimited, which she ran until her passing.

Geraldine was passionate about first aid and CPR education, and through that vocation she touched countless lives, equipping generations of students and caregivers with the skills to save others.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack; her mother, Ruth; and her brother, John.

She leaves behind her sister-in-law, Jean; 5 nieces and a nephew along with their spouses; and 20 great nieces and nephews.
