Darlene Bird, 94, beloved Mother, Sister, Mother-in-law, Grandmother, Wife, and Great-grandmother, was called home on January 29, 2025. She entered this world on March 24, 1930 in Grantsville, UT, born to Charles Francis Tate and Zina Imlay Tate. She is survived by her daughter Debbi (Ted) Nelson; son Larry ( Tami) Bird; grandson Barry Nelson ( Naomi); granddaughter Katrina Powell (Maurice); grandson Nicholas Nelson (Jenna); granddaughter Amber Lawson (Matt); grandson Trent Bird (Ana); granddaughter Mindy Rainey (Kyle); grandson Cameron Nelson (Rachelle); grandson Garrett Bird ( Kara); grandson Alex Nelson (Erin); great-grandchildren Riley Powell; Zoe Powell; Kynlee Powell; Travis Lawson; Korrah Lawson; Isabelle Lawson; Vivian Lawson; Leila Bird; Sophia Bird; Nathan Bird; Pyper Rainey; Allie Rainey; Norah Rainey; Gwen Bird; Emmett Bird; Ivory Bird; Ruby Nelson; Augie Nelson; Alice Nelson; Harper Nelson; Hunter Nelson; Hazel Nelson; Maxwell Nelson; Elle Nelson; Claire Nelson; Lucy Nelson; Amelia Nelson; Simon Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband Clinton L. Bird, son Bradley Charles Bird, and a great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Rainey.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 10:00AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. 1635 W 9th Street, San Pedro, CA. 90731 Viewing begins at 9:00AM.
