Daniel Sungho Ha

Daniel Sungho Ha, 67, of Torrance, CA, was called to rest on Thursday, September 28, 2023, after a battle with cancer. He was born July 20th, 1956 in Gwangju, South Korea, to David and Sabina Ha.

He is survived by his spouse Diana Ha; daughter Boeun Ha; son Andrew Ha. His memorial service will be held on October 10th, 2023, at Coastal Funeral Center, and he will be interred same day at Holy Cross Cemetery.

To his family, Daniel was kind, honest, loving, dutiful, generous, and cheery. He would poke jokes and stick his finger in yawning, uncovered mouths. He supported each of us in any way he could without hesitation and was always willing to listen and learn.

To his friends, Daniel was outgoing, playful, and engaging. He was admired and respected for his giving and self-sacrificial heart.

To his employees and clients, Daniel was professional and understanding to their needs.

Daniel was open to new challenges. He ran marathons, climbed mountains, and took to amateur photography. He picked up golf at the age of 40 and practiced with dedication. He had an affection for driving and maintaining his vehicles. He was eager to try new technologies, such as floppy disc cameras, 3D TVs, and the first bidets, and show them off to his friends and family with enthusiasm.

He loved us and we loved him. As he is called to his next life, we know his love will shine through and guide us forward. We will undoubtedly miss him and keep him in our hearts always.
