Cheryl Ann (Meier) Cartwright

Cheryl Ann Cartwright, 79, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Daughter and Friend to all was called to her eternal resting place on May 19, 2022, surrounded by her family. She entered this life on January 28, 1943 in Cathay, North Dakota, born to Ervin and Adeline Meier.

Cheryl married the love of her life, Eugene Curtis Cartwright on July 5th, 1969, in Torrance, California. They both raised three beautiful children, two girls and one boy. Cheryl loved to sew, cook, draw, crochet, face paint for holidays and decorate themed cakes for friends and family events. She had a zest for life and a great sense of humor! Cheryl was the owner of Jano's Pizza restaurant for many years and loved to banter and laugh with customers. Cheryl had a total of seven grandchildren and one great grand child, all of whom she bragged about and loved dearly.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Eugene Curtis Cartwright; sister Linda Van De Hei; daughter Jennifer Irene Nelson; daughter Jerri Lynn Smith; son Chip Curtis Cartwright; granddaughter Krystal Landrum; grandson Dustin Smith; grandson Johan Shultz; grandson Thomas Nelson; granddaughter Sarah Cartwright; grandson Christian Cartwright and great grandson Logan Smith. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Ervin Obert Meier and Adeline Irene Meier; sister Doreen Schrimser; and grandson James Landrum.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on June 18th 2022 at 11am at Coastal Funeral Center: 25001 Narbonne Ave Lomita, California 90717.
