Chantel Marie Duarte

Chantel Marie Duarte, aged 32, passed away on March 24, 2024, at her residence in San Pedro, CA.

Chantel is survived by her mother Miyuki Holihan, stepfather Jim Holihan, grandparents Frank and Keiko Turcany, and grandfather Primitivo Duarte. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Chantel is preceded in death by her father, Marc Anthony Duarte and grandmother, Gloria Duarte.

Chantel was a student at California State Fullerton, nearing the completion of her Bachelor's degree. While attending school, she worked at 24 Hour Fitness in Torrance, CA. Chantel found joy in photography, exercise, Dodgers baseball, music, art, tattoos, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. Her caring nature and radiant smile will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A service to honor Chantel will be held at Coastal Funeral Center in Lomita, CA, on April 20, 2024, at 11 AM. Rest in peace, our beloved Chantel Marie "Sakura" Duarte; we will hold you in our hearts until we meet again.
