Angel Carrillo

Angel Luis Carrillo born September 29, 1942 - January 9, 2021 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Bolivar Carrillo (deceased) and Epifania Carrillo (deceased) as well as sister Sonia Carrillo Quinones (deceased). Angel is survived by his wife, Mary Edith Carrillo, of 57 years and two children, son, Angel Luis Carrillo Jr. (Hope Carrillo) and daughter, Lisa Annette Rivera (John Rivera). He also leaves behind his three grandchildren whom he adored, John R. Rivera, Jaclyn M. Rivera, and Joy N. Carrillo as well as many beloved cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family. Angel retired from being a truck driver at Guardian Industries after 35 years of service. He also co-pastored at Iglesia Sion of San Pedro, Ca where he led the church choir and taught both youth and adults for many years. As he continued serving the Lord, he found himself in love with the community at the Gathering at the Garden in Gardena, Ca. Angel was filled with love for many other hobbies including riding his bike, attending to his garden/fruit trees, playing his guitar and most of all singing with his family and friends. Although he will be dearly missed, we will always remember his loving heart and contagious smile.
